Unassuming, burritos are ok but I need to cop tacos next time (the pic my friend's plate). People behind the counter are super nice and friendly, give them your business. Chicharron, highly recommend

Authentic Mexican joint, and much more affordable compared to other popular spots in San Francisco. The beef cheeks and flank steak were absolutely delicious! Keep in mind it is a butchery, so you go through a store to order your food. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly.

Unassuming neighborhood taqueria and meat market with some of the best tacos outside of Mexico. Highly recommend the house made chorizo, suadero and cecina (best in the city) Tortillas made in house. Excellent menudo (now my favorite in the Mission). Also highly recommend their agua frescas which are not overly sweet like most shops. Try the melon or lime with chia seeds. Really nice staff.

When a special kind of meat I wanted was not available at Gus’s Market, the butcher suggested to go to La Gallinita Meat Market. Even though I do not speak Spanish, but with few gestures, I got the choice meat for a special occasion from knowledgeable and friendly butcher. The place is unassuming, yet that experience will bring me back to here in the future.

Best meat, tacos sand butchers in SF. Hands down! All meat is fresh and wide variety. Prices unbeatable!! You can pre-order or ask for custom cuts. While you wait, you get some Tacos that are incredible. Ask for “molleja” taco, the best!
